Wiped
I don't know if it's the pre-natals, birth control pills, thryoid pill (which should have the opposite effect), docycycline, baby aspirin, or Lupron injection-but today I'm wiped! I had a hard time concentrating on my assignments, got teary eyed and stressed out trying to write my paper, and overall had a rough day today. I started my day well--full of energy and at ease with doing the Lupron injection. But by the middle of the day, I was a mess! Looking forward to get a good night's rest and hopefully feeling better tomorrow. Also, again not sure which one(s) are to blame, but having tummy problems today as well. I am just a mess--I hope my body regulates itself and gets used to this new 'normal' level of hormones being coursed through my body.

Oooh the hormones suck!! They have always done a number on me. The doxycycline made my tummy upset - that might be it. Good luck! I hope it gets better.
ReplyDeleteThe doxycycline also upset my tummy and the lupron exhausted me. By the end of each cycle K had to wake me up for dinner. Good luck in being more awake than I always was!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ladies! I have a feeling it's the docycycline too--yuck! Err...the Lupron is the one making me so tired--oh no! need to figure out how to get more energy on these meds!!
ReplyDeleteWhat I know from experience is that the messed up hormones and the drugs and their after-effects completely screw our normal.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that you are living with it.
I hope this IVF will bring you the baby(s) you are waiting for.

Lupron is one of those necessary evils in life.
ReplyDeleteHope you start feeling better soon and this is a great cycle!

Visiting from ICLW! Good luck on your cycle! The meds make me act/ feel all crazy too sometimes! Totally had a breakdown on Sunday just feeling overwhelmed. So embarassing! I love your 101 things in 1001 days! Cool idea!
ReplyDeleteI agree. It's likely the antibiotic upsetting your stomach, and Lupron making you so tired. Hope you start feeling better soon. Wishing you the very best with this cycle!

Here from ICLW - good luck with IVF #1! It's exciting to be starting that, even if it does make you feel a little crazy. Just remember, if it works, you'll be feeling crazy for a loong time (don't know if that makes you feel better or worse).
ReplyDeleteHi from ICLW! Sorry that you had a rough day. I know what those are like. Sometimes I can't help but cry over some of the dumbest things, or get frustrated over the simplest tasks. Hope you feel better.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry the meds are giving you such a rough go of it. Hope you feel better soon.
